About Me

I’m a multidisciplinary artist and newby curator
working in New Media art. As mediums for own art I
mainly use TouchDesigner, photo editing and
digital
painting tools.
My practice focuses on generative
visuals, exploring themes like space, sleep, dreams,
and the subconscious. Finding frames in those infinite
generations, and freezing them in time is what excites
me and what I am particularly drawn to.

Primordial Exit is an audiovisual collaboration between musician
Lado Bersenadze and visual artist me (Nino Giorgadze). Our live
performances aims to create ethereal, unearthly and
transcendental atmosphere through
concentrating on
experimental ambient drone sounds and minimalistic
composition of
abstract, yet recognisable visual forms.

For this project I usually set up controllable generative environment in TouchDesigner, and
performance is made through by manipulating this visual scapes by manually modifying
parameter values or changing them using mid controller.

Lado builds setup in Ableton Live and performs live music, he sets the atmosphere with drone
ambient sounds.

We collaborate through listening and observing, surprise each other, intercorporate
randomness and unexpected movements. Our project is still young but
we go beyond our past
limits after each performance.

Curatorial Experience: NIANGI - New Media Art Platform

Founded in August 2024 with the aim to popularize New Media Art in Georgia,
and give more visibility and accessibility to general audience and create
opportunities for begginer and established New Media artists.

First exhibition was held in Holoseum Tbilisi, Audo-visual holographic museum
during 14 Sep - 6 OCT. Expo was including 40+ Artists from around the Globe,
selected from open call and Invited (Ina Vare, Stanislav Glazov, Sabato Visconti,
Tokyo Nomad, Sub Net).

‘Error in Control’ explored the themes and characteristics of glitches and error,
making parallels
between socio-economic, political and micro systems around
us.

Emphasising on phenomena of how large, centralised and old systems are

error prone, unsecured, and often critically damaged for usage, and how big
corporations are not willing to catch up with contemporary demands and
society and create monopoly in cloud.
The curator of the exhibition made these
problematic observations while working with legacy software systems in
Georgian and international companies.

| Irakli Margishvili - Progeol

Exhibition featured digital, new media, interactive and installation art covering 3 floors of Holoseum. Niangi covered
curatorial, technical and communicational part with Holoseum, and gave possibility for artists to display merch with all the
funds transferring to them.

Niangi also orginized nonprofit oriented experimental music night with live visual integration including seven artists, some
of
participating in the exhibition. During the night, half of the exhibition was ketp intact, and other part was compiled into 2
screens.

Special Mention for installation and interactive artists ( alphabetical order):

Christian Gorsky - Mutation

The interactive installation Crooked Mirror explores the delicate balance between an ideal system and the error it harbors.
At its core is a sculpture-frame, camera, and semi-transparent screen, illuminated by a projector from the opposite side.
When a participant enters the scene, they are captured by a webcam, and the signal is processed through TouchDesigner,
displaying their reflection on the screen with varying levels of distortion, displacement, and deformation.

Without any participant present, the projection remains nearly black, a blank slate. But as soon as someone steps into view,
they complete the system’s circuit, giving life to the projection. Their reflection brings light, color, and movement to the
installation. In this way, the individual becomes illuminated by their own distorted image, caught in the loop of a feedback
system that contrasts the ideal nature of a mirror with the imperfections introduced by the "crooked" reflection.

Esaa Mariamis - [გაზაფხული]

For the past two years, every spring, Tbilisi loses its shape and rhythm as familiar landmarks take on new meanings and
memories. Esaa Mariami’s six-minute audio-reactive video installation uses geodata from eight locations tied to protests,
transforming the city’s physical structure into reactive point clouds. These point clouds respond dynamically to Nino
Davadze’s musical composition, capturing Tbilisi's diverse and chaotic character as a city that feels both fragmented and
central. Buildings represented as points lose their form, dissolving into an unrecognizable, unstructured chaos. This visual
fragmentation is contrasted with lines from an abstract poem that articulates the struggle of surviving within a crumbling
system, serving as a souvenir of experiences that remains even as the city’s architecture collapses into disorder.

Nino Chechelashvili - Crooked Mirror

Progenol - Figment074

The installation is placed in a large frame as the central element, with two projectors intersecting to create a complex
layering of visuals that overlap and shift simultaneously. These projections invite the viewer to look through the frame,
offering a sense of depth that draws them in while keeping them at a distance, unable to physically cross into the projected
world. Chaotically arranged cobweb-like nets fill the room inside the frame, giving off a mystic atmosphere reminiscent of
ghosts or curtains suspended in time. As the projections move across these nets, they weave through the gaps, creating
fragmented stories that seem to hover between reality and imagination. The nets, frozen in their chaotic positions, distort
the visuals, revealing glimpses of different abstract narratives. The frame acts as a boundary, distancing the viewer from
what feels like an overlooked or abandoned room, where abstract virtual memories, projected onto semi-transparent nets,
dominate the physical space.

Skywalker Visuals - Geomorph

Skywalker Visuals’ interactive installation invites participants to engage directly with a dynamic visual environment where
geomorphic shapes are brought to life through TouchDesigner and Leap Motion. At the center of this experience is a
geomorphic shape generator, an intricate system that responds to the slightest movement of a hand, transforming each
gesture into a cascade of changes that alter the mathematical forms in real time. Participants are encouraged to explore
the interaction between their actions and the digital shapes, creating an immediate and engaging connection with the
generated visuals. Each subtle movement leads to a unique and changing display, highlighting how simple gestures and
movements can influence complex systems, revealing the diverse outcomes shaped by user input.

Project | Self Portraits in Nightmares | NOV 2023

tools used: TouchDesigner, webcam

Dreamless nights are luxury for me, yet dreams fade
away so soon. They might not be leaving memories, but
the color, and feelings that could not be named. Though I
dont always dream nightmares, they leave the biggest
marks and puzzles for me. And sometimes bed becomes
the puzzling space, inviting but troublesome.

Those Images are taken on
sleepless nights, in my bed,
waiting for falling asleep and
expecting nightmares

Yet I love nightmares, they
teach me so much. I love
them as the color blue, and
blue is my favourite color.

I love nightmares, but i dream of peacful sleeps

For series ‘Rust Atlas’ and ‘Earh and Frost’ I manipulated shapes frame by frame, each frame leaving trace for the next one, therefore used shapes as a brush, and colours as stains.

I want to find interesting textiles for printing those work, but until this time I have not encountered desired printable textiles or opportunities.

If you have recommendations, I would be happy to hear
